WhatsApp Auto Print
A customer sends a PDF or photo to your shop's WhatsApp number. It shows up in your dashboard — you check it, then it prints on the shop printer. Free.
How it works
- Customer sends a document to your shop's WhatsApp number.
- It appears under “Waiting for you” in your dashboard, with a small preview.
- You open it — rotate, crop, choose which pages, or put two on one A4 page — and press Send to print. (Or “Print as-is” for a clean PDF.)
- The small agent on your shop PC downloads that document and prints it.
The WhatsApp connection runs on our server, so nothing prints unless you approve it here — and a shop that never opens the site never prints. Files are deleted once the agent has them.
Setup — on the shop PC (2 minutes, once)
Nothing else to install first — no Python, no LibreOffice, no separate PDF-printer app. Just this one file.
- Download VLEPCPrint.exe and put it anywhere — the Desktop is fine.
- Double-click it. A small setup window opens.
- Sign in with the same email and password you use on VLE PC (create a free account first if you don't have one).
- Scan the QR code shown right there in the window, with the shop phone: WhatsApp → Settings → Linked devices → Link a device.
- Pick your printer from the list, tick start automatically with Windows, and press Finish setup.
Changing printers later, or setting this up on a second PC? Run VLEPCPrint.exe again —
it reopens the same setup window. Prefer to run it from Python source instead of the .exe (developers)?

Every day
- Keep the agent window running on the shop PC (or let Task Scheduler start it).
- When a document arrives it shows under “Waiting for you” with a preview.
- Check & print — opens the editor: rotate, crop a photo, choose pages

1-3,5for a PDF, fit to A4. - Combine several on one page — two documents on one A4 sheet, side by side or stacked.
- Print as-is (PDF only) — send it straight to the printer.
- Reject — if it is blurry or not meant for printing.
What it prints
- PDF — as-is, or with the pages you pick.
- JPG / PNG — placed on an A4 page (fit to page), after your crop/rotate.
- DOC / DOCX — converted to PDF (needs LibreOffice on the PC).
Questions
Where is the QR — do I scan it in a browser on the shop PC?
No. The QR is in your dashboard on this website (My account → WhatsApp Print). Scan it with the shop phone. The shop PC only runs the print agent.
I need to reconnect the agent, or set it up on a different PC.
Run VLEPCPrint.exe again (or use Change printer / relink… in its status window) and sign in again — no token to find or copy by hand.
The agent says “device is 'paused'” or “waiting”.
Open the dashboard and press Resume, or re-link WhatsApp if it shows a QR. Nothing prints while the device is paused or unlinked.
Do customer documents stay private?
They pass through our server only until your agent downloads them, then they are deleted (and swept after 3 days if the agent never picks them up). Nothing is kept.
How is this different from the Autoprint tool?
Autoprint runs in this browser — you choose files and it merges them into one print job. WhatsApp Auto Print brings the files in from WhatsApp and prints them after a quick check, with nobody re-typing anything.
