Questions about this tool
Does a UPI QR work with any app?
Yes. The code follows the standard UPI intent format, so GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM and bank apps all read it. Test it with a one-rupee payment to yourself before you print a hundred.
How big should I print it?
A rough rule is one centimetre of code for every ten centimetres of scanning distance. A counter code at 30 cm needs about 3 cm; a shop-window code needs 10 cm or more.
Does the code expire?
No. A QR code is just the text encoded as squares — it works forever, as long as whatever it points to still exists.
Is anything sent to your server?
No. The code is drawn in your browser.
