Is there a limit on how many files?
No fixed limit. Everything is held in your device's memory, so a phone will manage a handful of ordinary documents comfortably and struggle with fifty scanned books.
Will it keep the quality?
Yes. Pages are copied across untouched — nothing is re-compressed, so the merged file is about the size of the originals added together.
Can I merge a password-protected PDF?
Not directly. Remove the password first with the lock/unlock tool, then merge.
Does the order in the list matter?
Yes — the merged file follows the list top to bottom exactly, so drag the rows into the order you want before pressing Merge.
Can I add more files after the first batch?
Yes. Drop more in and they are added to the end of the existing list, not replace it — then drag them into position.
Can the same PDF appear twice in one merged file?
Yes, nothing stops you dropping the same file in twice — useful for a form that needs a cover page repeated, for instance.
