What is the e-Shram card for?
It registers unorganised-sector workers on the national database and carries a twelve-digit UAN. Several central and state welfare schemes use it to identify eligible workers.
I have lost my UAN.
Use the "Update / Download UAN Card" option on eshram.gov.in with the mobile number you registered with — it will show the UAN after an OTP.
Can I laminate the printed card?
Yes. Print at actual size, cut on the guide lines, and laminate. It is a copy for your own convenience, not an officially issued card.
What size does the printed card come out at?
The standard 85.6 x 54 mm card size — the same as a bank card or driving licence — so it sits correctly in a normal card sleeve or wallet slot.
Can I build a print-ready sheet instead of two loose images?
