Where do I download the e-EPIC?
From voters.eci.gov.in, after logging in with the mobile number registered against your voter ID. The download is free.
Is a printed e-EPIC accepted as ID?
The e-EPIC is an officially issued digital copy of the voter card and is accepted as identity proof. A printout is treated the same as any photocopy — this tool just makes it the right physical size.
My e-EPIC has both sides on one page.
Then crop the same page twice: capture the front from one part of it and the back from the other. The page selector only appears when the PDF has more than one page.
What size does the printed card come out at?
The standard 85.6 x 54 mm card size — the same as a bank card or driving licence — so it sits correctly in a normal card sleeve or wallet slot.
Can I build a print-ready sheet instead of two loose images?
Yes — once the front and back are captured, use the sheet builder below them to lay out a 4x6 photo-paper or A4 print at 300 DPI, ready to cut.
Does this work for a photo of the physical voter ID card, not just the e-EPIC?
Yes. A clear, flat, well-lit photo of the old laminated card works the same way as the downloaded PDF — crop the front, then the back.
